It is with great sadness and broken hearts we have to inform you our Queen of dance sadly passed away on the 3rd of August 2024. She passed away peacefully and her amazing legacy continues with her incredible dance school she began in her living room in 1945.

Miss Maria trained hundreds of dancers throughout her lifelong career. She created a safe space for so many children to develop their love and passion for dance, meet lifelong friends and find freedom in expression through the art of performing. Maria’s school has enabled so many of students to continue their passion of dance into a professional career, so we thank Miss Maria for the wonderful school she created that has had a positive impact on so many – we are forever grateful.
