For students in ballet, tap and modern when ready are given the chance to take their exam – these range from Primary to Advanced 2.

In Tap and Modern we follow the ISTD syllabus and in Ballet RAD – both an esteemed examination board across the UK.

Students who do not compete in festivals still have opportunities to perform on stage in professional theatres. Every other year in line with the All England Dance bi-annual finals we hold our Beck Theatre Show – always a very anticipated day where all students get to perform dances from each class they are in.

In the year we do not have our Big Beck Theatre show we hold a Christmas Cabaret – a smaller yet just as exciting day for students to showcase their talent to their families. At the end of our cabaret there is an awards ceremony where teachers come together to select students to win an award – always a very difficult decision! All students at the end of the Cabaret are given a medal with our logo on – to show them all how proud we are of them!
